CAN WE BRING IN OUR OWN FOOD?
Yes! We only ask that your foods are nut free.
If you'd like us to coordinate catering for you, please note that at the time of your booking. We are partnered with Style & Graze and Oak & Rose Events.
CAN WE BRING IN OUR OWN ALCOHOL?
Yes. You will require a Special Occasion Permit, and will have to follow all guidelines set forth from SLGA in regards to this.
Wonder & Whimsy is a licensed facility, and can also provide the alcohol and bartender(s) for your event. Costs will vary based on the event and services required.
DO WE HAVE TO RENT THE ENTIRE VENUE?
No. We have Wonder, our larger event space, as well as Whimsy - our smaller event space/studio. These can be rented separately, or together as a full venue.
Central Perk on the Prairies can be rented for photoshoots if the venue is not otherwise rented at the time of the shoot. It is included with Wonder & Whimsy rentals, so is unavailable to other bookings at those times.
IS YOUR FACILITY ACCESSIBLE / WHAT DO YOU OFFER?
Yes. We have one reserved parking spot outside of our entrance dedicated to disability parking, and the ramp to come on the sidewalk is beside our neighbors, Saskatoon Archeological Society.
Our facility has one accessible washroom, and both washrooms are gender neutral.
Our event space does not have stairs.
WHAT CONVENIENCE ITEMS ARE ON SITE FOR PARENTS?
- Change Table
- 2 Highchairs
- Jolly Jumper
- Bumbo Chair in the washroom so baby can be set down
- Potty seats & potty training stickers in each washroom
- Step stools in each washroom
- Little Wonders Lounge for coloring, reading, playing, watching TV (Netflix & Disney +), and sensory breaks.
DO YOU OFFER EVENT PLANNING AT OUR EVENTS?
It can be used as an add-on. You have the option when you book Wonder & Whimsy to have us be as involved as you need us to be. If you'd like to book the venue and take care of everything, that is totally okay! You can utilize your own Event Planner as well if you have someone that you're already working with.

DO YOU HAVE RENTAL ITEMS?
We have a small selection of items on site that you can rent for your bookings. These are only available for in-house events, and cannot be used for outside bookings.
ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR WEDDINGS?
Yes and no. We will be available for smaller ceremonies of 50 people or less, but do not book wedding receptions at this time.
WHAT IS YOUR VENUE CAPACITY?
We are approved for 59 people in the venue. Depending on the event type and floor plan, we can make recommendations for you on your guest list size.
DO YOU HAVE A KITCHEN?
We do! The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, microwave, and storage space.
HOW MUCH IS PARKING?
Parking is free! We have a large parking lot, and there is usually quite a lot of free parking space on any given day of the week.
